Exploring the uses of behavioral visualizations for smartwatches

Introduction
This study attempts to understand how smartwatch owners use, and adopt to, different visualizations of their physical activity. We are searching for 12 participants to install and assess two watchfaces over the course of a month.

Procedure
During the week of the 20th of November, participants will be provided with a Google Play URL, and requested to install both watchfaces. The study will go on for a total of 28 days, during which the watchfaces should remain installed and set as the smartwatch main watchface. At the end of each 7 days, participants will be interviewed for approximately 10-15 minutes.

Participation and Reward

Participants will be rewarded with a US$50 gift voucher from Amazon.

Data logging

We will be logging participants levels of physical activity as well as their interactions with our watchfaces. All data obtained from participants will be kept confidential and will only be reported in an aggregate format (by reporting only combined results and never reporting individual ones).
